Powwow season is upon us and we just launched our newest version of our Jingle Dress Box.
Our inspiration for this year's Jingle Dress Box was from a new trend in powwows where female Powwow dancers dance with a Cradleboard, often called the Cradleboard Dance. This was introduced as a symbolic way of keeping your babies close to their mothers and a way to heal from the generational trauma caused by Residential Schools.
The Jingle Dress dance is considered a Healing Dance and we felt that this combination of Jingle Dress healing and Cradleboard protection is what we needed to feature in our Jingle Dress Box this year.
The scents are summer berries, flowers, lavender and chamomile.
